Sixth ODF plugfest in Berlin (Germany) on July 14-15th 2011
The sixth ODF plugfest took place in Germany at the Bundesministerium des Innern on July 14th and 15th 2011. The event was jointly hosted by the Bundesministerium des Innern and Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Technologie.
The ODF plugfests are an ongoing series of vendor-neutral events, bringing together implementers and stakeholders of the standard. The goal is to achieve maximum interoperability by running scenario-based tests in a hands-on manner and discuss new and proposed features of the ODF specification.
Lead architects from commercial and open source products, members of the OASIS ODF TC's and technical experts from national and regional governments were present. Previous plugfests were held at The Hague (Netherlands), Orvieto (Italy), Granada (Spain), Brussels (Belgium) and Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (UK).
